Can anyone else believe it’s the end of March already?! I’m personally excited about the upcoming warm weather!

I have been using a few beauty products this month that I think are worth noting. They all have been super consistent in their quality and I’ve been loving them!! They are all really budget friendly too, which I love! If you’re a beauty junkie like me, you’re always looking for something new, but also something that works!!

My Beauty Favorites!

Tarte Lights, Camera, Lashes 4 in 1 mascara

My favorite beauty item this month has been the Tarte Lights Camera Lashes! It’s a little more on the pricey side, but it gives just the right amount of length and volume, and is super black! It also lasts a long time before drying out, which I always look for in a mascara. I apply several coats to get my desired look, but one coat will do the job if you’re looking for a soft natural look!

Garnier SkinActive Moisture Bomb

Recently I’ve switched up my moisturizer. I have oily skin with some dry areas, so I didn’t want anything that was heavy and going to make my skin more oily throughout the day. I decided to try the Garnier SkinActive Gel Moisturizer, and it is awesome! It is lightweight but keeps me moisturized. The Clinique Moisture Surge is nice, but pricey. I’ve found that the Garnier version is a definite dupe. I use it at night and in the morning before makeup application.

Miliani Conceal and Perfect

I have been trying a lot of new foundations lately and have been very disappointed (especially in the Tarte foundation..anyone else?!) I typically love the Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation, but the price tag is a little much sometimes. I picked up the Milani Conceal and Perfect foundation and it has been great! It has full coverage (I’m a full coverage kind of girl!) and has a drugstore price, which I also love! I work full time and this foundation definitely has staying power as well. It has been a beauty fave of mine! If your looking for a full coverage drugstore option, give this a try!

One Heck of a Blot Instant Perfecting Primer

I have been struggling to find a good primer. The last few that I have purchased have been just plain awful for my skin. They made the makeup slide around on my face and make me EXTRA oily. I am a HUGE fan of Casey Holmes (never heard of her? Well you need to check her out..see my posts on favorite YouTube channels!) And she always talks about Soap and Glory One Heck of a Blot primer. I picked it up earlier this month and I love it! It is lightweight and doesn’t have that silicone feel a lot of primers do. It minimizes my pores and keeps my skin matte throughout the day. A good primer can be hard to find, so I definitely recommend this!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Duo

The last thing beauty favorite this month is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Eyebrow Duo Brush. I have tried the E.L.F version and it doesn’t compare. It’s a little but of a splurge, but I can’t do my eyebrows with anything else. This brush makes it so easy to use a pomade for your brows. I was hesitant at first, but I’m in love! I do use it with the E.L.F Lock on Brow pomade which is awesome for the price. It stays all day and goes on smooth!!

What are your current holy grail products? Let me know! I’m always up for trying new beauty products!

  1. I think that primer is the best invention since sliced bread! I love how smooth it makes my skin feel. I tend to use Smashbox, but I will look into this one!

  2. Thanks for sharing your favorites. I am limited in my makeup, because I am allergic to almost everything. I still shop around as if I can use whatever I want, because I was in habit of doing that before my body chemistry changed. I always appreciate hearing about folks shopping for new beauty products though. 😀

    1. I don’t deal with dark spots, but I recommend YouTube to find new skincare items! I watch A TON of videos of different people with different types of skincare routines!
